Among Rachel's responsibilities at Children’s are:
- Initial contact and feeding instructions for new families of infants with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial disorders.
- Pre- and postoperative education at the time of surgery.
- Coordination of care provided by multidisciplinary team members.
- Resource for hospital newborn nurseries and other healthcare providers in the community.
