Rebecca was raised in the Dallas area and graduated from North Mesquite High School. She attended nursing school at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she graduated with her Bachelor in Science. During her nursing career, she developed expertise in a variety of pediatric subspecialties, including neonatal intensive care, emergency, developmental pediatrics and research. Rebecca pursued her nurse
practitioner certification in pediatrics from Texas Woman’s University where she received her Master of Science. She worked with general pediatric patients in private practice and out patient surgery services before joining the Plastic Surgery, Craniofacial, and Vascular Anomalies team at Children's Medical Center Dallas. Rebecca is now a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and team leader
for The Fogelson Plastic and Craniofacial Surgery Center for Infants and Children at Childrens Medical Center. She works in
collaboration with the surgeons and clinical staff to help provide a holistic approach to the care of our patients. Our families benefit from Rebecca’s ability to evaluate and monitor patients as well as perform outpatient procedures. Other services she provides
include patient education and parental support. Rebecca is the nurse practitioner for the hemangioma clinic, which receives referrals
from the Vascular Anomalies clinic as well as from the community.
